Equator provides easier HR event management

 

The latest update of the modular Equator human resource management system from K3 Business Technology Group (K3) simplifies event management for busy HR professionals. Easy to use diary triggers automatically remind staff and personnel managers of important dates for reviews, training and other important events such as disciplinary hearings. The software integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook's Calendar module for easy communication.

Other enhancements to the comprehensive HR package include the ability to capture Serial and/or Lot numbers when performing a Job Receipt directly from the shop floor in real-time, automatic population of the Payroll module from easily configured payroll spreadsheets, and the easy integration with third party software products. This makes it simple to use with existing tools such as T&A systems, either using Equator's fully integrated T&A module, or a 3rd party solution. Equator offers a complete HR package, including payroll, personnel, shop floor data capture and T&A.

 

"Ease of use, while providing complete integration, all without the need to rely on the IT department is a keystone in Equator development. Serial and Lot traceability, for example, is an important issue for many of our customers. With the Shop Floor Data Capture module, we have made it straightforward to enter Serial and/or Lot information in real-time. By using this module, the customers systems are automatically updated and there is no need for additional data entry into the ERP system.

 

A lot of work is done deep down within the program's architecture so that each update brings significant enhancements to the user experience. An important part of this is constant improvements in the system's ability to integrate with other important programs that customers may rely on for the smooth running of their companies," concludes Kevin O'Donnell.
