About K3 Business Technology Group

Established in 2001, K3 supplies, installs and supports Microsoft based business planning and management software principally to retailers and manufacturers.  The software is termed "ERP" software (Enterprise Resource Planning).

ERP software is business critical and provides companies with an integrated software solution to manage inventory, resources and business processes.  Once installed these software systems remain in place typically 12 years or more.  

K3's customers are primarily mid-tier retailers, manufacturers or distributors but also include larger companies within these sectors. In total, the Company has installed and now supports its Microsoft based software solutions in c1,200 customers operating across 20 countries.

With this significant and growing customer base, K3 is one of Microsoft's largest channel partners in the UK and is a member of Microsoft's Inner Circle Club which is reserved for the top 60 partners worldwide.  As a member, K3 has access to Microsoft's strategies and new developments.  This brings considerable business benefits to the Group. 

K3 operates two divisions:

K3 Manufacturing is one of the UK's largest providers of manufacturing software to mid-range manufacturers and distributors. Headquartered in Manchester, the business unit employs some 100 staff supporting over 1,000 customers in 20 countries. K3 Manufacturing offers Microsoft based solutions for all types of manufacturers, including discrete and process across a wide range of industries.

Retail Software Division (trading as "K3 Retail") which provides Microsoft's Dynamics range of ERP software solutions.  The software system offers retailers a single unified system, capable of operating across their head office, stores and tills (or electronic point of sale).  The Division has consistently been rated as Microsoft's leading partner in the UK over a number of years.
